Was able to order online for a later pick-up time without issue and with the food still being hot. Their Sicilian pizza is amazing! Good portion of fries and mozzarella sticks, prices are comparable to other local spots.
My folks started eating here in the early 2000s when we moved back to South Jersey. There used to be an ice cream place called ice cream.cone back then - I remember thinking it was a real website. It wasn't. Anyway, their pizza is fine - it's good. It doesn't rival the trendy Philly spots but it is never bad. I am writing because the sandwiches are great. The chicken angelo, the turkey club focaccia, their wraps, the Stromboli! It's all really good. I live a few towns away and I'm considering DoorDashing it tonight for the Sixers game. It's that good! Love Angelo's even when I was a kid. Cute and small dining areas to eat inside, they also have deserts as well! Always love getting a slice when I can, and I couldn't resist when my boyfriend sent me a photo of the garlic knots! Had to go and get some of my own.
I am a die-hard pizza lover of Tony's Baltimore Grill in AC, but I must tell you Angelo's unbelievable square pie rival's any of the suberb pizza joints in New York City. The pizza sauce that they use has a delicious, long cooked, homemade taste, and the crust has the perfect crunch, bite, and chewyness that makes me crave their pizza, and sorry that I don't live closer to this great restaurant. Just give them a try, you'll be a fan too.
